The Peace Has Begun Tour, featuring Snatam Kaur – a best-selling New Age artist, will travel across North America in a double-decker bio-diesel tour bus spreading the music of peace through intimate concerts – which many claim to be life-changing events. The Peace Has Begun Tour, created by Steve Robertson, is a precursor to Project-Peace on Earth a globally telecast concert event scheduled for September ‘09.

Los Angeles, California – January 14, 2008 – Peace Has Begun, literally, for Snatam Kaur, her musical ensemble and Steve Robertson – creator of Project-Peace on Earth. These pioneers of peace have joined forces to kick-start the Peace Has Begun concert tour in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on February 23, 2008. The Peace Has Begun tour - sponsored by herbal drink-maker, Cell-Nique – will offer the music of healing as well as high-profile speakers that include celebrities and political leaders who will address a myriad of social topics at each tour stop.
Peace Has Begun is not an average music tour; it’s a movement. This movement will create awareness and provide learning tools on various social issues. Topics range from teenage obesity to gang violence to substance abuse, all of which clearly impacts every city in our nation.
Snatam Kaur - one of the world’s brightest, best selling, and most inspiring new artists – and her musical touring partners – GuruGanesha, Manish Vyas and Ram Dass – belong to the Sikh faith, their music consists of sacred chants and prayers that beckon feelings of healing and peace, and promote social change. Together the ensemble creates a magical blend of traditional Indian and Western musical harmonies that gently guide listeners to the well of peace within. Snatam’s belief is that the experience of deep inner peace will radiate outward to a global level, enacting significant and tangible change in the minds, hearts and actions of people everywhere.

By changing the meaning of Peace from a casual noun to an action-inspiring verb, concert-goers will grasp their own responsibility in making Peace a reality.
Robertson, along with Mike Mitchell (Executive Producer of Live Aid and 8 Olympics), Hal Uplinger (Co-Executive Producer of Live Aid), and Rosanna Arquette are producers of the global Project-Peace on Earth concert. They see the Peace Has Begun campaign as an important first step in promoting peace through Sacred Music.
